It looks like Kid Rock is out here being, well, Kid Rock. The Detroit born musician decided to revamp his home decor and surprise Nashville residents with a gigantic 700-pound middle finger statue. Yes, the rocker, who is known to do crazy stuff like this, decided to stir the pot and be the talk of the town. Which is actually a great way to promote himself, if you ask me.

Why the middle finger statue? Well, Rock is pretty much known for it, it’s even graced one of his CD covers. So yeah, it’s an instant habit for him and what Kid Rock wants Kid Rock gets. The statue actually roots back to November 2018 and was created by Ted Pelkey, a small business owner from Westford Vermont. The idea came to him after he was trying to find the best way to cut down his expenses while keeping his business alive.

He decided he wanted to move from a shop he rents about 25 miles away. His idea was to build a new shop on his own property and work from there. But unfortunately, Westford told him no, so basically Pelkey responded the only way he could.By creating the bird statue.

So, not only did this genius artist built a gigantic seven-foot-tall statue of a hand giving the middle finger, but he mounted it on a 14-foot-tall pole on his property and even installed lights on it so it’s visible at night. Talk about sending a subtle message. The giant middle finger, which he says is for the people who run the town of Westford, has become quite a well-known tourist attraction for those traveling through on Route 128 and has gained national media attention.

This is where Kid Rock and his middle finger obsession comes in. During Christmas, Pelkey said that Kid Rock had left him a message, saying, “Hey Ted, Merry Christmas. It’s Bob Ritchie, Kid Rock.” The southern rockstar then told Pelkey that he liked the statue and had to have a finger on his property in Nashville. So, the Vermont artist quickly began to work on a second middle finger and is now ready to be shipped all the way to Nashville.

The second “Big Bird” is said to be delivered to Kid Rock in May, and we can already see all the pictures going viral. Of course, this is something Kid Rock would do, it’s in his nature. Regular statues are so overrated.

It looks like Nicolas Cage is in quite a pickle, after his ex-wife, who he was married to for a whopping 4 days, is demanding spousal support. Yes, it wasn’t too long ago that the couple announced they had secretly eloped, after dating for a year. Cage and Erika Koike, a makeup artist, applied for a marriage license in Vegas one Saturday night on March 23, 2019, and by Wednesday, filed for an annulment.

Ah, young love, so cute, so reckless, so…expensive? According to the annulment documents, the 55-year-old actor claims he was so hammered and passed beyond the point of intoxication, because Vegas of course, that he “reacted on impulse and without the ability to recognize or understand the full impact of his actions.” Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. Rule number one in Las Vegas, Cage, don’t get close to the church chapels especially if you’re drunk. Rookie move on your part, everyone knows that!

Cage then continues by saying the 4-day marriage was a fraud (once again, duh) because Koike didn’t actually disclose the full “nature and extent” of her relationship with another person. It doesn’t end there, oh no. Apparently, the makeup artist didn’t disclose to Cage in the whole year they were dating that she had a criminal background.

What is the criminal history the Ghost Rider actor is referring to? Turns out Koike has two DUIs which she pled no contest to in Los Angeles in 2008 and 2011 and a domestic violence arrest in 2006. Of course, the Hollywood actor tried to justify the annulment by saying that both had conflict in dispositions and personalities that are deep as to render the two “incompatible in marriage.”

Koike filed on April 19th, seeking spousal support by claiming that Cage’s drunken impulsiveness doesn’t qualify for an annulment. According to court documents, the 34-year-old also claims that her reputation has been severely damaged by Cage and has lost out on many career opportunities. She is also asking him to pay all legal fees.

Just take a look at the collections shown last month for Spring/Summer 2020 – MSGM was the real winner here, giving us two-tone ombre tie-dye paired with shorts. And across the board for Spring/Summer 2019 (that’s now) the collections were rife with hallucinatory tie dye. Dries Van Noten presented silky tie-dyed shorts. Liam Hodges gave us plenty. Virgil Abloh’s Off-White saw tie-dye denim (jeans and jackets). And Amiri gave us serious hippy-dippy vibes.

More themed cruises are popping up this year, the latest one being Selena Quintanilla themed! Yes, a Selena-themed cruise is ready to set sail out of Los Angeles this Autumn. “Dreaming of you 25: The Como la Flor Cruise,” is scheduled to sail out next year, running from September 25 to September 28, 2020, from L.A to Ensenada, Mexico.

The website states that Selena’s former husband, Chris Perez, will perform with Grupo Metal, marking the 25th anniversary of the singer’s death. Perez was the guitarist in Quintanilla’s band Selena y Los Dinos in 1990. The couple married in 1992, three years before the singer was fatally shot. The ‘Queen of Tejano Music’ has sold more albums than any other women in Latin music history, winning her first Grammy at the age of 21. The Corpus Christi legend was tragically murdered at the age of 23, right at the height of her career, but her legacy still remains strong despite it being more than 20 years since her death.

Jasmine – who has also worked with fashion houses such as Calvin Klein and Prada – admits it is wonderful working with her mother Cary because she understands what works well for her daughter and they also have a very honest relationship which means she can say no to some styling ideas.

Jasmine said: “It’s really, really nice because I’m not afraid to say that I don’t like something. Sometimes when I work with another stylist, I don’t want to hurt their feelings if they have brought me options that I don’t like.

“My mom and me obviously have an amazing relationship – we’re like sisters – she knows my exact style; she knows what I’m going to like and what I don’t like and also she has a very classic style.”

Jasmine decided to enlist the help of Cary because they both have similar tastes in clothes that are “timeless”.

Speaking to Vogue Australia, the catwalk star said: “I’ve always wanted to keep my style very classic – I never want to look back at my photos when I’m older and be like, ‘Oh my gosh! What was I wearing?’ so I like to have a style that’s very timeless and I think that she really gets that.

“It’s just so much fun that she can come to my press days with me and she’s there. It’s just really great to have her around and I have a lot of fun with her styling me.”

YouTube’s Emily Hartridge Is Dead At 35 After Electric Scooter Accident

English YouTube star Emily Hartridge, known for a weekly vlogging show tackling myriad topics as well as for some presenter work over at Channel 4, has died at the age of 35. Reports indicate the YouTube presenter was involved in an electric scooter on truck accident while riding in London.

Someone near to her broke the news on social media as Emily Hartridge – Emily Hart on YouTube – typically drops video on Mondays.

The message also says Instagram was the easiest way to contact everyone in the same moment.

A report from the police department indicates the collision occurred where Queenstown Road meets Battersea Park Road SW8. Officers and London ambulance attendants were on hand at the scene, but Emily Hartridge died of her injuries. The accident occurred on Friday, July 12, but her family did not want her name released at the time.

Her boyfriend, Jake Hartzell, also took to Instagram to talk about Emily’s tragic accident and sudden death. He reassured fans he is doing fine, but he still looks bent out of shape, which is understandable, given it’s been just a few days since Emily passed.

He also says Emily was “the person who encouraged me to talk about what I was feeling,” which is why he was letting people know he was going to be OK.

Emily Hart’s “10 Reasons Why” series had been running on YouTube since 2012 at the time of her death. Her last video, entitled “10 Reasons To Get A Younger Boyfriend” actually showed Emily Hartridge getting surprised with two scooters for her birthday by Jake.

Believe it or not, Supergirl is heading into its fifth season. The adventures of Kara Danvers have been unique among the heroes of the Arrow-verse thanks to her setting on Earth-38, and she’s also had a super-suit that stands out from the rest.

Why? Because it didn’t involve pants. That and more about her look are changing for Season 5, as Melissa Benoist revealed via social media:

Did somebody tell the Girl of Steel that Batwoman got arguably the coolest super-suit in the Arrow-verse, and she realized she was due for an update? After all, both Oliver and Barry on Arrow and The Flash have gone through multiple costume updates while Kara’s been stuck in her skirt for her heroics most of the time.

Now, she gets pants! And bangs!

Melissa Benoist didn’t include any comments in her Instagram post of the new Supergirl suit, but I think the pants emoji followed by no fewer than four exclamation points is proof that she’s excited about the changes! She has gotten a taste of fighting as Supergirl in pants a few times over the years, notably in Season 4 thanks to the Red Daughter arc.

All things considered, the new look isn’t all that different from her previous look, other than the switch to pants and addition of bangs. I’m kind of curious if both Kara and Supergirl will visibly have bangs in Season 5. We’ve always had to suspend our disbelief that nobody recognized Kara as Supergirl just because of a different hairstyle and change of glasses, but might some people notice if both Kara and the Girl of Steel show up with bangs at the same time?

Probably not, but what’s summer hiatus for if not speculating?

It may come as a surprise, then, that Jeremy Renner turned down a chance to play a role in Hellboy.

Shark Week is making waves once again in 2020. The full schedule has been released and this year includes Shark Week’s first scripted feature-length film starring Josh Duhamel.

Shark Week returns on July 28 for 7 days of epic shows, movies, and specials. Shark Week is television’s longest-running and most anticipated summer event. This year, there will be over 20 hours of original programming from July 28 to August 4. Shark Week 2020 is unlike any other. The event’s first scripted feature-length film, Capsized: Blood In The Water, will premiere on July 31.

Josh Duhamel, Tyler Blackburn, Rebekah Graf, Beau Garrett, and Josh Close star in the TV movie. Capsized: Blood In The Water is a true story about an October 1982 shark encounter. AMBER PORTWOOD MACHETE ATTACK SPELLS DOOM FOR ‘TEEN MOM’ GIG

Amber Portwood will lose more than her freedom if she’s convicted of going after her boyfriend with a machete — she will almost certainly lose her gig on “Teem Mom OG.”

Production sources tell TMZ … Amber’s already on thin ice following her domestic violence arrest resulting in 3 felony charges — domestic battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and domestic battery in the presence of a child.

The dealbreaker for the show … if a jury believes Amber wielded a machete during a heated argument with bf Andrew Glennon. As we reported … Amber struck a door with Glennon holding their infant son on the other side.

Our sources say a conviction for the use of a deadly weapon in a domestic violence incident should end her 10-year run on the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise. We’re told the show is letting the legal process play out … but a conviction will almost certainly be all she wrote.

As rabid ‘Teen Mom’ fans know … the show has stood by Amber’s side in the past when she weathered other legal storms. You’ll recall she was busted for domestic violence in 2010 for hitting her ex, Gary Shirley … an incident caught by MTV cameras.

MTV again stood by Amber when she was busted in 2011 for possession of a controlled substance. She ultimately served time behind bars and later admitted to abusing prescription drugs.

The difference in this case … putting her son in danger. Aside from the obvious, it’s way too much of a risk for a show to keep someone on the air with this kind of propensity for violence, because if she snaps again and the child gets hurt … the show will have hell to pay.

Amber recently opened up about being bipolar and suffering from borderline personality disorder. She’s also talked about postpartum depression. Obviously, all factors will be considered before a final decision is made. 

She’s due back in court later this month.
