Selena Gomez Bonds With Mom & Sister, 6, In Rare Family Photo

Selena Gomez has been staying out of the spotlight for the last several months, but she resurfaced on social media in a sweet photo with her mom and sister over the weekend.

It was a family affair for Selena Gomez, her mom, Mandy Teefey, and sister, Gracie Teefey, 6, at the Cyndi Lauper concert! The trio attended Cyndi’s performance at the Hollywood Bowl, and Mandy posted a sweet family photo to Instagram from the outing. In the pic, Gracie is laying across Mandy and Selena’s laps, and all three ladies are looking at the camera. Selena is wearing minimal makeup and looks stunning while making a kissy face for the pic.

The relationship between Selena and Mandy has been pretty up and down over the years. Selena started her career with Mandy as her manager, but eventually decided to part ways with her mom on a professional level. Then, when Selena reunited with Justin Bieber from the end of 2017 to the beginning of 2018, the mom/daughter duo had a bit of a falling out. They always manage to figure out how to look past any of their differences, though, and it looks like they are on good terms once again!

Selena has been mostly keeping out of the spotlight throughout 2019, although she’s made a bunch of public appearances to promote some of her projects. In May, she attended the Cannes Film Festival, and she’s also continued her work with Puma.

This year, Selena’s cousin, Priscilla DeLeon, is getting married, and Sel will be serving as the maid of honor. The ladies recently celebrated with a bachelorette party in Mexico, and Selena looked absolutely stunning in photos from the bash. We can’t wait to see her look when she walks down the aisle and stands by her cousin’s side!

A guide to Zendaya’s Style Evolution

The ‘Euphoria’ star went from Disney tween to IRL Met Gala princess.

At just 22 years old, Zendaya has already had an impressive sartorial history that could rival those of celebs twice her age. She first caught our eye as a Disney tween star nearly a decade ago, and has since never shied away from taking risks on the red carpet. Her fearless fashion has not only given us endless inspiration, but has also helped push the boundaries of the fashion industry’s outdated beauty standards for women of color.

Now, with leading roles in the edgy HBO series, Euphoria, and Spiderman: Far From Home, we have new opportunities to witness this style chameleon do her thing. From tween Queen to our very own Met Gala Cinderella, here are some of Zendaya’s most memorable fashion moments.

2010: Tween Queen
Zendaya was 13 years old and starring in Shake it Up! when she attended Variety‘s Power of Youth event in 2010. As evidenced by the funky neon animal print paired with the all-black ensemble, she was already confident showing her style on the red carpet. Even as a young teen, Zendaya already knew how much power a pop of color can have.

Zendaya

2013: An Homage to Aaliyah
In 2013, Zendaya channeled the one and only Baby Girl with an Aaliyah-inspired costume at Keep A Child Alive’s 20th Annual Dream Halloween. She had been in talks to portray the legendary R&B singer for a Lifetime biopic, but ended up dropping out, and actress Alexandra Shipp took the role. Still, Zendaya proves she can nail Aaliyah’s signature style, with her Tommy Hilfiger crop top, light-washed baggy jeans, and men’s boxer briefs peeking through. We wouldn’t be surprised if this look led to her Tommy Hilfiger collaboration.

Zendaya

2015: Oscar’s Red Carpet
Zendaya experienced unnecessary controversy when she was criticized for wearing locs on the red carpet Fashion Police host Giuliana Rancic made offensive comments, saying that Zendaya’s hair smelled “like patchouli or weed.” Zendaya defended her look with a beautiful, well-written response to Rancic’s ignorance. “There is a fine line between what is funny and disrespectful,” Zendaya said at the time, pointing out that there is “already harsh criticism of African American hair in society without the help of ignorant people.” She described locs as being a “symbol of strength and beauty, almost like a lion’s mane.”

Zendaya

2016: Pink Power
One of the most admirable things about Zendaya’s style expertise is her ability to pull off a bold, powerful look with the same panache as a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie. Case in point: the bright fuschia Christian Siriano suit that she wore to a Humane Society Gala a few years ago. Zendaya seems to have a penchant for all-pink suits and she pulls off this ultra-feminine hue like no other.

Zendaya

2016: David Bowie Vibes
Zendaya paid homage to another musical legend at the 2016 Grammy Awards. This time, her inspiration was David Bowie, albeit more subtle — there wasn’t a glittery, Ziggy Stardust-esque platform boot in sight. Instead, Zendaya opted for a double-breasted Dsquared2 suit and a mullet, which had her facing criticism, but she took the negative comments in stride. “I think we can’t allow ourselves to get caught up in other people’s opinions of ourselves because then we’re never going to progress, we’re never going to go forward. So we’ve got to be real. We’ve got to do what we want to do even if people don’t like it,” she told Elle at the time.

Zendaya

2016: Bowl Cut, But Make It Fashion
Proving more and more that she can work any hairstyle, no matter how contentious, Zendaya debuted a look that made us consider bowl cuts for the first time in, well, ever. The mod-inspired look paired perfectly with her golden Michael Kors gown for the Met Gala. Somehow she managed to look retro and from the future all at the same time. Which isn’t surprising, considering how Zendaya is always down for a throwback look. “I think I’m always just very inspired by the fashion of the decades,” she told PeopleStyle in 2017.

Zendaya

2017: Met Gala Goddess
On her third year of attendance, Zendaya officially cemented herself as a darling of the Met Gala with an extravagant Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda ball gown that perfectly matched her 70s-esque Afro. The mustard-hued dress was decorated with images of flowers and red parrots, causing the one and only Rihanna to give her props and post a photo of Zendaya in the look while calling her a “brown goddess.” Riri approval? Goals, indeed.

Zendaya

2018: Red Carpet Heroine
Short, blunt bangs can be tricky for anyone to master, but Zendaya is a knockout in the wavy, fringed bob she wore to the 2018 Met Gala. It was the perfect accompaniment for her Joan of Arc tribute, her interpretation for that year’s Catholic-inspired “Heavenly Bodies” theme. Her metallic, armor-esque gown was custom Versace, and came to her stylist Law Roach in a dream after contemplating strong women who had a connection to religion. “I dreamt of Joan of Arc one night and called Versace and was like, ‘What if we did something to reference Joan of Arc?’ They came back with really, really great sketches,” he told the L.A. Times.

Zendaya

2019: Cinderella Style
Zendaya always kills it at the Met Gala, and this year was no exception. In another look curated by Roach, Zendaya took a page from her Disney beginnings, invoking Cinderella with a powder-blue ballgown custom-made by Tommy Hilfiger. She accessorized the look with a purse shaped like Cinderella’s carriage and even left a glass slipper on the red carpet. The best part? Roach was on hand to act as her fairy godmother, waving a wand that released smoke and magically lit up the entire dress so it glowed on the red carpet. Camp, indeed.

Busy Philipps’ Stylist Makes Her a Bedazzled Bandage for Knee Injury: ‘Trauma but Make It Fashion’

According to Busy Philipps’ stylist Karla Welch, the bandage was encrusted with Swarovski crystals

Busy Philipps didn’t let a recent fashion emergency slow her down.

On Thursday, the 40-year-old actress explained in an Instagram Story that she had fallen “off a bike and busted her knee,” leaving her with a sizable injury. Philipps shared a snap of her skinned knee earlier this week, captioning a bloody photo of her leg, “Same f—ing knee. New trauma,” a reference to her memoir, This Will Only Hurt a Little, where she opened up about past traumatic knee injuries.

Instead of forgoing the leg-baring outfit Philipps was set to wear to an event on Thursday, her stylist Karla Welch came up with a creative solution — a homemade Swarovski crystal-encrusted bandage!

“Trauma but make it fashion,” Philipps captioned a photo of herself wearing the glamorous bejeweled bandage. “@karlawelchstylist is a superstar for making me a custom crystal bandage for my skinned knee to go with my crystal bike shorts and crystal embellished blazer by @machandmach.”

“It was a Fashion Emergency,” Welch commented on Philipps’ post.

Philipps paired the crystal bandage with a white Mach & Mach blazer and crystal mesh bike shorts. The star also wore silver pumps and accessorized the look with a small white purse.

In her own Instagram post, Welch wrote, “@busyphilipps in @machandmach and a nice lil @swarovski encrusted bandaid cuz she banged the f outta her knee and I didn’t want to change her look so that’s what we damn well did.”

Philipps is known for taking fashion risks. Last month, the actress and TV host jumped in the pool while wearing a $1,600 Zimmermann maxi dress at her 40th birthday celebration in Mexico.

Booze, Cheating, Drugs: How Lamar Odom’s Downward Spiral Broke His Marriage To Khloe

Years into his marriage to Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom started to lose control. The NBA star fell into a downward spiral of drugs, booze and hookers, ruining his relationship with the reality star and his career!

Now, five years after Kardashian, 34, filed for divorce from Odom, 39, REELZ’s new docuseries, Khloe & Lamar: Irreconcilable Differences, is giving viewers a look back at their tumultuous relationship and nasty split.

“So during this time period, Lamar is on a downward spiral. It’s obvious to anybody that’s looking at him in photographs. He’s sweating, he doesn’t look good, there’s pictures of him falling out at clubs,” recalls Rob Shuter, founder of Naughtygossip.com in the show teaser.

“This is a story now that the media’s following, really following aggressively. It looked like we had another Kardashian man that was in trouble,” he adds.

But despite Kardashian’s denial about their troubled marriage, it didn’t take long for the pair’s dirty secrets to come out.

Elon Musk & Tesla Inspired Jaden Smith To Become An Inventor

In a new interview with Complex, Jaden Smith (rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith) declared, “I’m an inventor. And Elon Musk is my idol and I’m not gonna stop until I’m like Elon Musk.”

Jaden Smith Elon Musk Tweet

He explains in the interview that he will continue to make music, but he wants to do so much more. He already has done much more with JUST Water, which produces eco-friendly bottled water.

Jaden got his inspiration for JUST Water from Elon Musk. He plans to take Elon’s attitude toward Tesla and apply it to bottled water, and so far, he’s doing a stellar job of it. The water is packaged in a box-like container that is made from paper and plant-based materials. The lid for the water is made from sugarcane. Jaden told Business Insider:

“Elon went from PayPal immediately into Tesla. He revolutionized the car industry in a way that no one before him could do. … I want to step into this water-bottle industry and revolutionize it in a way, because I’m thinking in a way that no one else is thinking.”

Doing more than just creating a better way to drink water, Jaden is bringing it to Flint, Michigan. His organization collaborated with First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church and they plan to deploy The Water Box, a mobile water filtration system.

Flint is not the only city where Jaden is making an impact. On Instagram, he introduced his I Love You restaurant, a pop-up food truck to help the homeless of LA. The meals are vegan and they are free.

Jaden told Quartz that he admires Elon Musk “as a thinker, as an entrepreneur, as a helper to humanity.”

This also means a lot for Tesla as a brand simply because Jaden, in a sense, has become a brand ambassador for Tesla. Using the Model X in his Coachella performance and using it also in some of his videos, while including his love for Tesla in lyrics of his songs, expose the brand to many of his fans.

Like many rappers who rap about their Lambos, Jaden shows off Tesla as a premium product to desire. This will inspire his fan base to research Tesla, and when they see that they can get a Model 3 starting at just $35,000, many of them will do just that.

Supernatural Will End with Season 15, Cast Shares Emotional Message to Fans

Supernatural will officially come to a close after Season 15 wraps. Stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins shared an emotional video message to fans announcing the news. The hit show is the CW’s longest-running series and it just celebrated after hitting the 300-episode mark. By the time that the series concludes, it will have a grand total of 327 episodes, since Season 15 will consist of 20 episodes.

Jared Padalecki is visibly trying to hold back tears as he, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins make the announcement. Padalecki started the video by saying that they wanted Supernatural fans to hear it from them first before they heard it from anywhere else. Ackles goes on to say that they just informed the crew that they are excited to start Season 15, but that it will sadly be the last. You can read Padalecki’s caption for the video below.

“Hey #Supernatural family here’s a little message from Jensen Ackles Misha Collins and me. I’m so grateful for the family that’s been built because of the show. Excuse me while I go cry.”

Supernatural Television Show Cast

Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins did not give a reasoning behind Supernaturalending, but it has been a long and great road for everybody involved. 15 seasons is a lot and seems like a good number to go out on. However, fans will more than likely be devastated. Executive producers Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb released a statement about the show ending, which you can read below.

“Firstly, we would like to thank all the people who have been involved with the show both in front of and behind the camera. For us it has been an experience of a lifetime. The support we have had from both Warner Bros Television and The CW has been incredible. We’d like to give special thanks to Jensen, Jared and Misha for making this journey so special. It is now most important to us to give these characters that we love the sendoff they deserve.”

Supernatural has been a consistent hit since it arrived back in 2005 on the WB network from creator Eric Kripke. The series follows the Winchester brothers as they hunt demons, ghosts, monsters, and other supernatural beings and it has gained an intense cult following over the years. Not bad for a show that Kripke only envisioned going for a full three seasons and then calling it quits.

Eric Kripke departed after Supernatural Season 5, but like everybody that comes and goes from the show, he has remained a big part of the family. Jeffrey Dean Morgan recently came back for the 300th episode and it was a huge deal for the actor and the cast and crew, not to mention the fans, who freaked out when it was revealed. With that being said, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins are saving the emotion for Season 15, so expect a ton of crazy surprises that only the Winchester brothers can provide.

James Charles’ first Twitch stream was shut down in less than a minute by trolls

James Charles on Twitch

Spammers caused the YouTubers first Twitch stream to be cut surprisingly short.

James Charles recently took to live streaming site Twitch to chat with fans – but his first broadcast was shut down in less than a minute due to toxic viewers.

The plan was to go live with his first stream on 28th June as part of the launch of his JCharlesBeauty Twitch channel, but the stream had barely got started before James had to stop broadcasting.

Instead of being inundated with messages from fans, the stream was hijacked by spammers, who filled the chat with penis-themed text art and posted ‘egg emotes’, which are usually associated with the popular gaming streamer Mitzkif.

“There’s too many people spamming this. So, we need to block the word ‘eggers’ whatever that means,” James explained during the first few seconds of the stream as he tried to figure out how to moderate the chat. A few seconds later, the stream ended and was replaced by a screen that said: “Be back soon sisters.”

James didn’t keep the video of his livestream uploaded to the site, but some viewers kept clips of the stream and uploaded them to show the moment James had to shut down the stream.

He originally announced he would be joining Twitch by responding to a tweet by Keemstar, which said: “Yo @jamescharles I have a spot open in #MinecraftMonday you down?” James replied: “Making a @twitch right now… let the hunger games begin.”

It’s not certain yet when (or if) James will return to the streaming site, but if he does, we can only hope he gets some moderators in place for next time.

Aussie model Fernanda Ly reveals how she made the big time: ‘Being Asian, with pink hair, I stand out’

A COMBINATION of good luck, good timing and standout locks have propelled Fernanda
Ly to the top of the ranks of Australia’s international models.

Currently the face of Dior, the 23-year-old has graced the covers of Vogue in Italy, China, Australia and Japan, as well as Teen Vogue in the US.

And she has walked the runway for major fashion houses from Louis Vuitton to Kenzo and Moschino.

“The timing was right, that is just how fashion is and I guess I got lucky,” Ly told Confidential, acknowledging that her now trademark pink hair has also helped.

Fernanda Ly

“It makes me stand out. I look different so I guess that is the first thing people notice. I’m often in Europe so being Asian, I stand out, and then with the pink hair.”

Ly, who has also fronted international campaigns for Kate Spade and Gap, is here to see her Liverpool-based parents in a rare week off before jetting back to New York.

Fernanda Ly on the Cover of Vogue Magazine

She was discovered a few years back while shopping and signed to Priscilla’s Model Management.

At school, she described herself as “the girl who sat in the corner playing games” and started studying interior and spatial design before taking on modelling full time.

Ly initially dyed her hair pink for fun. Now it requires a maintenance routine of regular bleaching, treatments, and a pink rinse each week.

Fernanda Ly

“It was all just for fun and just kind of stuck,” she said.

“When I was signed, it was pink and they wanted me to keep it surprisingly.”
